Ewing’s Sarcoma? Have
you heard of it? Ewing’s Sarcoma is a cancer in the bone or the soft tissue
around the bones. Most often it is found in the legs, pelvis, ribs, arms,
spine, and clavicle. As with many cancers there are not a lot of options for
early detection.
Our hearts go out to the family of Austin Hewitt. We have
known this young man for many years now. Unfortunately this is not Austin’s
first battle against Ewing’s Sarcoma. For Austin, the cancer presented itself in his big toe in 2016. He underwent all recommended treatments and stayed
positive throughout the entire process. Austin recently went to his follow-up
appointment and they found the cancer has returned in his ankle of the same
foot. Please keep Austin and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Austin has a passion for Theater and Performing
Arts and is entering his senior year to be a 2019 Graduate of Eastern High
School. Austin will have many upcoming appointments and treatments at Riley
Children’s Hospital. The drive to and from these appointments can be exhausting
physically, emotionally, and financially. We are asking for your help.
Donations will be accepted here at our office and help with the expenses of
travel and medical bills.
