“I started Smiles for VETS free dental day because I wanted to give back to our community in a bigger way. We currently provide a lot of charity dentistry with Project Access of Howard County and Donated Dental Services for the State of Indiana, but I knew there was a greater need and I wanted to do more. With the cuts in the VA benefits and the fact that our veterans have to drive an hour or more to get dental care at the VA, I thought they would benefit from our services the most. It is my honor and privilege to help our veterans have a beautiful and healthy smile.”

“My team and I LOVE Smiles for VETS day! It is the highlight of our year. It is so rewarding to host this free dental day. We have several dentists, hygienists, and assistants from other Kokomo dental offices helping us each year, so it’s a fun day. At the end of the busy day of charity, it feels great to know you helped patients (that normally cannot afford care) get out of pain and infection.”
