What are Neurotoxin Injections?
Neurotoxin injections are a cosmetic and medical treatment that involves injecting a purified form of the botulinum toxin, produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, into specific muscles. These injections temporarily block the release of a neurotransmitter, which prevents the muscle from contracting. This paralysis of the muscle results in relaxed facial wrinkles. Neurotoxins can also be used to reduce jaw clenching, teeth grinding and headaches. Whether you’re looking to soften expression lines or reduce TMJ-related tension, we can help!
We offer two different types of neurotoxins:
- Xeomin
- Daxxify
Xeomin is known as a “naked” neurotoxin because it contains only botulinum toxin A—without any additional proteins. We have seen excellent results with Xeomin.
Daxxify is a newer neurotoxin. While Botox and other popular neuromodulators are based on human serum albumin, Daxxify doesn’t contain any human or animal products. It instead contains peptides, which are short chains of amino acids. The peptides in this product are what make it last longer than Botox and other injectables.

Microneedling Treatment Services
Microneedling is a minimally invasive, non-surgical, skin-tightening procedure for the face and neck. Microneedling treatments stimulate the natural production of collagen and effectively alleviate facial wrinkles, fine lines, and acne scars while tightening and toning the face and neck.
How Microneedling Works
Microneedling involves the use of tiny needles to create a controlled injury to the skin. The microneedling device is the size of a large pen and has tiny needles on the tip. The needles penetrate the skin about .025-2.5mm in depth, depending on your skin condition.
This small wound triggers the skin to repair itself by producing new collagen. The new collagen helps to create smoother, plumper, and healthier skin.
What to Expect During Your Microneedling Treatment
Microneedling is a very quick treatment. First, a topical anesthetic is applied to make the treatment painless. It takes about 40 minutes to numb the skin fully.
Once the skin is numb, the treatment session only takes about 15-20 minutes. A microneedling device is used on your skin. You can expect some light bleeding to occur.
What to Expect Immediately After Your Treatment
After the treatment, it is essential to leave the blood on your skin as long as possible. Blood contains many beneficial growth factors and anti-aging boosters.
The channels that are opened up during microneedling are only open temporarily. You want the blood to absorb as effectively as possible, which is why we suggest waiting a few minutes before wiping it off.
It is best to wait at least 45 minutes before cleansing your face. It takes at least 45 minutes for the channels that were opened during the treatment to close. Your face will have a reddish tone, like a light sunburn, before returning to your normal complexion in about 24-48 hours.
You should also avoid applying makeup right after your treatment. Anything you apply directly following a microneedling treatment could be absorbed deeper into the skin.
Your makeup contains ingredients that you don’t want to absorb deeper into your skin, which is why it is important to wait to wear makeup following your treatment.
What to Expect Long-Term After Your Treatment
You should notice an improvement in your skin’s texture and reduced pore size within one to two weeks.
Microneedling treatments are performed one month apart, with approximately three to six treatments in total, to achieve optimal results.

There is a range of skin issues that microneedling can be used to treat. Some common skin issues include:
