We wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to all of our patients who, so graciously, donated to our fundraiser for Kristina Buffington. Kristina is one of our dental assistants. Kristina, along with her two young children, were involved in a car accident the week before Christmas. A semi ran a red light and hit their vehicle. Unfortunately, her 12 year old daughter, Amanda, passed away in the accident. Her 8 year old son is home and healthy. Kristina was recently moved to a rehabilitation facility, where she is receiving around the clock care.
Through patient donations, we have collected $2,359.00.
Dr. Melissa Jarrell is matching all donations, so the total that will be going to the Buffington family is $4,718.00.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from all of our patients!
Everyone is still welcome to donate. Kristina’s husband has set up a memorial fund at Beacon Federal Credit Union, on North Broadway, in Peru. Donations can be made at this location, at any time.
