Dr. Jarrell has practiced dentistry in Kokomo since 2000. After graduating 4th in her class at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1996, she was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the highest dental academic achievement award) which includes only the top 5% of dentists in the nation. Dr. Jarrell completed a post-graduate general practice residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.  Dr. Jarrell has completed many hours of continuing education in implant dentistry and is certified to perform full arch dental implant treatment with Renew. With her passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry, she utilizes the latest in dental technology to individualize your treatment. She is actively involved in our community and enjoys giving back to Kokomo through local charities and by providing free dental care for veterans by hosting our annual Smiles for Vets free dental day. Being a mother of three gives Dr. Jarrell a compassionate and understanding point-of-view for her patients. When Dr. Melissa is not working, she enjoys gardening, traveling, thrifting, playing with her dogs, Teddy and Arlo, and spending time with her family and friends.
